NOVA STRANDS is a boutique salon brand with locations in Frisco, Texas and Wilsonville, Oregon, built on a pretty simple belief: what we do matters, but how we make people feel matters even more.
Yes, we're serious about really good hair. But somewhere along the way, we've learned that the best parts of this industry have very little to do with hair at all.
They're the people. The relationships. The trust. And the opportunity to leave someone a little better than we found them.

We get to walk alongside our clients through new jobs, weddings, babies, breakups, big changes, hard seasons and really good ones. We hear the stories. We celebrate the wins. We build relationships that sometimes last for years. And we never want to take that for granted.

Ashlee wanted to build the kind of salon where exceptional service and genuine connection could exist side by side, and where talented stylists could build careers they’re proud of without losing themselves in the process.
As NOVA STRANDS has grown from Wilsonville, Oregon to Frisco, Texas, that vision has grown with it. Today, Ashlee is just as passionate about creating really good hair as she is about creating a better way to build a career behind the chair, one with balance, support, continued education, and room to grow.
Her goal has never been to build something that depends on her. It’s to build something that lasts because of the people inside it, and, along the way, leave this industry a little better than she found it.
